We were a small group this month, but we still accomplished a lot, and had fun doing it.

We had a wonderful sew day (you are more than welcome to join us, if you haven’t before) this past Saturday.   We were lucky that we already had some bedding started along the process, and just needed some of the final ribbons and finishing.

What a Wonderful Welcome Home from the Crafty Weasels yesterday!!! Lisa made some Banana-Banana Bread cake, and Sue had some beautiful flowers, and fun balloons for both Karen and me. Soooooo blessed to have such a wonderful caring group!!

Morgan had to work most of the day, but cared enough to stop by and help afterwards. She wasn’t early enough to be in the group pic, but got her outside with Johnny and Elsa!

We had a wonderful gathering for our first Crafty Weasel Sew Day this past Saturday!

Well, we had quite a lot accomplished on Saturday.  We stayed in the room to exchange cookies, and have some BBQ from Dreamland (Karen picked up for us), and Karen made some delicious punch to share.  Definitely a lot happened for our sew day.  We had a resident of Brookdale, Gerogina Garcia, visit and stay to assist Johnny in pinning.  I believe she really enjoyed spending time with us.

Well, it was Veteran’s Day, Lisa’s Birthday, and sew day all rolled into one.  Morgan brought her three furkids, and Johnny brought his little girl, so we had lots of ferrety fun during the day.

I apologize for this message being so late.  Several things distracted me, and I never got a chance to let you all know about our September sew day.  We didn’t have a large group, but were lucky because Dawn stopped by with a huge stack of sleepsacks and hammies, etc., and Margaret brought in a big bag of Pennybutton Hammies.  No ferrets were in attendance, but several people stopped by looking for them, so hopefully next month we will have a fuzzy or two with us!

Looking forward to our next meeting on October 14^th.  I believe Sue mentioned bringing her little Emma, but we can coordinate all that closer to the time.

We were missing some of our regulars, but still had a good time during the day.  Brookdale was having family picnic day, and we were invited to join in, and we did!  Good food, and time was had by all.
