In memory of Mary Ann

It is with a very sad and heavy heart that I let you all know about Mary Ann.  I was at the hospital today, and she isn’t able to fight any longer, her body was shutting down and she is non-responsive.

It was decided by the family and hospice to allow her to gently transition without pain.  We left so that they could have the last hours with her.
I shared with her family, how much she was loved by your group, and how very important she has always been in our lives.
She will be leaving 3 ferrets, and 3 cats that will need to find new forever homes.  If someone is able to help with opening their home, please let me know.  I’m sure it will help put her mind at ease and that of her family.
For years, she was a wonderful hospice Mom for the shelter, and the greeting at the Rainbow Bridge will be so thunderous, I’m sure we will feel the vibrations.
Thank you for all your prayers.
